Poker Features Table Alias (DE, MI, PA, WV)

Table Alias and Anonymity

At BetRivers, we value protecting all players.

Table Aliases make our games pseudo-anonymous, which protects player identities and levels the playing field.

Instead of featuring unique usernames for each player at the tables, each player is randomly assigned an avatar and screen name. Players are assigned a new avatar and alias at every table they play.

With Table Aliases, we've removed the potential advantage of players accumulating and analyzing hands you've played via data-mining.  We've also eliminated the possibility of your results being made public without your consent.

FAQs

How long does my Table Alias last?

In Cash Games, your table alias will expire after leaving a table for more than 4 hours. If you rejoin a table where you were playing within four hours, you will be seated with the same Table Alias and Avatar as before.

In multi-table tournaments, your table alias will prevail throughout the tournament, including any re-entries. For example, if you’re eliminated in an MTT and choose to re-enter, you’ll return with the same Table Alias and Avatar as your initial entry, and your listing within the player ranking area in the tournament detail lobby will indicate the entry number. After the MTT concludes, the player rankings area updates to feature each player’s Poker ID and associated table alias during the tournament.

Do I see the same avatars/aliases across multiple tables?

No. Table Aliases and Avatars are unique to each individual table, meaning you could be playing with the same opponent across multiple tables, but they will appear with different Table Aliases and Avatars on each table.
