Tax information (DE, MD, PA, WV, MI, NJ)
On this page
We know that figuring out what's taxable with online gambling can feel intimidating — so here's a clear breakdown of when you'll get a tax form, when taxes are withheld, and how to find your documents.
When is a win taxable?
It depends on how you're playing:
Slots: a win of at least $1,200
Sports bets: a win that's at least $600 and 300x your wager
Table games: a win that's at least $600 and 300x your wager
If your win qualifies, a W-2G form will be uploaded to your account at the beginning of tax season. If you have more than one taxable win, you'll receive just one W-2G showing all your qualifying wins combined.
When are taxes withheld?
We only withhold taxes on a sports win that's over $5,000 and 300x your bet. When that happens, our system automatically withholds 24% for Federal taxes, which will be reflected on your W-2G.
How to find your tax forms
